Initially begun as an initiative to explore the vision Omaha’s residents have for their city’s future, Omaha by Design has become much more. Today, the organization has become an advocate for the creation of great public spaces that improve the quality of life. As such, it works to garner support for projects and initiatives that promote the development of great places throughout the Omaha area. By bringing together donors and nonprofit organizations to address important community needs, the group has facilitated the donation of more than $300 million to more than 1,500 organizations and neighborhoods throughout the area.
